UPPER BLEPHAROPLASTY
Upper blepharoplasty is a procedure that involves removing excess skin, muscle, and/or fat from the upper eyelids. As we age, our eyelids stretch, and the muscles supporting them weaken. As a result, excess skin or fat may gather above the eyelids, causing a sagging and droopy appearance.
Besides contributing to an older look, severely sagging skin around the eyes can reduce peripheral vision, especially the upper and outer parts of the field of vision. Upper blepharoplasty can reduce or eliminate these vision problems and produce a more youthful and alert appearance.
